We are Chris and Callie of Raising Twins. The twins gene run strong in our family, though we never thought that we would find ourselves parents of twins. We became a family of five when our identical twin daughters were born in 2010 and joined their brother who is two years older than they.
We have begun this blog to share our joys and struggles of raising twins, and hopefully build relationships with in this community to allow everyone to benefit from the knowledge of others. We encourage you to leave comments, ask questions, and share your stories with us as well.
Life with small children can be incredibly difficult, especially when you have multiples. We live in Oregon and don’t have family support nearby to rely on (Grandmas and Grandpas live in South Dakota), which makes some days extremely challenging. We try to find humor in the everyday dealings of family life and rely on God’s guidance through it all.
Our family likes to camp, Geo-cache, rock hunt, and spend time exploring nature together; we also love to cook, watch movies, and play games together. Mostly we love to spend time with one another and look forward to creating unforgettable memories with our children as they grow.

Great website but I’d like to subscribe so I don’t miss a post. Will you be adding a “subscribe by email” or RSS feed any time soon?
There is a link to the RSS feed at the top of the sidebar if you want to subscribe.
Thanks for enjoying our writing.
